Over a year ago, I visited Angel Falls on my birthday. The barista made me a modified banana iced coffee. My drink was delicious. Why did it take me so long to revisit? Honestly, I have no clue. I was having a rough Friday and I decided that I would treat myself to some matcha. I had a small conversation with another black woman at the cafe. She asked my opinion on what to order. I explained that this would be my second time trying Angel Falls and my first attempt of trying a matcha drink. The conversation was refreshing, and discovered we were both Aquarius (not surprise lol ). I ordered a banana matcha( anything with banana flavoring is my go to). I mentioned to my barista that I love my matcha sweet. My Inquiring mind made me ask what type of matcha she used and she was nice enough to show me the packet. Here is my honest opinion.

Drink rating: 2.5/4

Review: The first sip was delicious. However, the banana flavor syrup quickly went away. I was tasting pure matcha. I was not made at all. This was my beginning steps about learning about the quality of a matcha. Angel cafe uses a matcha with a green tea blend. This matcha is more cost efficient( budget friendly). I would like to add that I added oat milk as well.
