If you’re flying into Atlanta Georgia, I suggest trying Roast Coffee House! This food court option is located at Terminal Pkwy B Concourse at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. I got off the escalator A banana matcha is right up my alley. I did not have any expectations but I was pleasantly and spotted their sign for a banana protein matcha. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. I even ordered one on my way back to Cleveland.

I will warn you that this matcha was more on the pricier side. I paid $12.15 for each matcha but I did not care(like at all). I am literally paying for an experience! Although the banana matcha was offered as a protein drink, I was not familiar with whey protein. Honestly, I assumed the protein was wheat based, and I was afraid of having an allergic reaction. To my surprise, I was wrong. After sipping my non-protein matcha, I did a quick Google search. I provided a short definition at the bottom of the page( if your curious). Another positive note was my service. Also, I would like to mention how friendly the workers were. The young lady(who made my second matcha) told me what type of matcha they use. A matcha called Mighty Leaf( Ceremonial matcha). I noticed my drinking cup said Peets Coffee. I did a quick dive of that too and provide some information at the bottom(only if your still curious).

Whey protein: A dietary supplement made from the separation of milk curds(liquid by-product left over during cheese making production).

Benefits of whey protein: Helps build muscle( good for a post workout).

Mighty Leaf & Peets Coffee: This company uses a green tea from Japan called Usucha Matcha. Usucha matcha is an elegant powdered tea made from Japanese tencha and is usually used in the traditional Japanese tea ceremony.

*Please note that both of my matcha’s were more on the diabetic side(sweet side). I have not experience the exact taste of this matcha. I figured its decent quality based on the tastiness of my drink
