I had a few minutes to spare before attending a grant writing event at Barberton Public Library. Instead of buying Mcdonald’s, I decided on the Kave Coffee Bar. Ironically, this coffee shop is right next to the theater I go to(Lake 8 Movies). My experience at Kave was great. The staff showed a great level of warm heartedness and attentiveness that any customer would want to come back to. In my opinion, their expertise were not in matcha. The barista even commented and said that many do not request matcha from their coffee shop. I ordered an oat milk peppermint matcha with chocolate drizzle(the base of this drink is vanilla). My drink was fine. The barista was kind enough to let me know that Crimson Cup Coffee Tea in Columbus is where they get their supply. Although my matcha experience was just okay, I am excited to visit this site again and try some other seasonal drinks. I encourage consumers to give local establishments more chances. We give a lot of chances to mega brands like Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks anyway.
